All of our group classes take place at the St. George United Church
located at 9 Beverly St. East in St. George, Ontario.

Welcome to Be Moved! Our focus is embodiment: body awareness, an increased feeling of strength, confidence and resiliency that will translate into your day-to-day life.

We believe it’s important to teach our students the basics of a yoga and movement practice to lay the foundation, and really, we can all benefit from learning and revisiting the basics!

Which is why it is recommended that you attend the GET MOVING! - FOR BEGINNERS classes to begin. These classes are designed to teach you the basics in an accessible way and are recommended if you:

  • Have an injury.

  • Feel challenged getting up and down from the floor, and/or walking up and down stairs.

  • Have trouble bearing weight on your hands or lifting your arms overhead.

  • Are just starting to get moving again.

  • Are new to practicing yoga postures.

In these classes you will learn:

  • The importance of breath and how to breath efficiently.

  • Mindfulness through a moving practice.

  • Main yoga poses and how to make them accessible to you while building strength, flexibility and mobility.

  • How to improve your balance in fun and unique ways!

  • Thursday’s 5:30pm - 6:30pm

  • Saturday’s 10:45am - 11:45am

Experienced Yoga/Movement Practitioners

Students with an existing yoga and movement practice will enjoy our Level 1 classes. We will help you deepen and strengthen your practice while teaching you new movement skills, increasing mobility and overall body awareness.

Level 1 classes run:

  • Wednesday’s 5:30pm - 6:30pm

  • Friday’s 9:30am - 10:30am

  • Saturday’s 9:30am - 10:30am
